Subject: Report of illegal vehicle crossover and pavement damage at HA9 9BT

Dear Highways / Parking Enforcement Team,

I am writing to report the ongoing unauthorized use of a public footway as a vehicle crossover.

Some residents at this road are regularly driving a motor vehicle across the pedestrian pavement to park in their front garden. There is no official dropped kerb installed at this location, damaging the pavements and bringing debris into the road, specially at winter time.

As you are aware, driving over an undropped kerb breaches the Highways Act 1980. The regular weight of the vehicle is causing damage to the pavement surface, creating a potential trip hazard for pedestrians and risking damage to underground utilities.

Could you please investigate whether a legal crossover application exists for this property, or take the necessary enforcement action to prevent further damage to public property?
