Walking along the Fryent road from Kingsbury on the left-hand side pavements have wide spaces between them and is very uneven.

Significant pedestrian safety hazard at the beginning of Fryent Road. The pavement slabs in this area are extremely uneven, with wide gaps between them creating a severe trip and fall risk. Key issues: Trip & Injury Risk: The gaps and uneven surfaces are a direct hazard. It is only a matter of time before someone twists an ankle or suffers a serious fall. Accessibility Obstacle: This broken surface poses a major barrier for individuals with mobility issues, parents pushing prams, and young children trying to walk safely. As a heavily used section of pavement, this needs urgent inspection and repair before an injury occurs. Please arrange for an officer to assess the site and schedule the necessary resurfacing or slab leveling. Thank you.

This defect was categorised as medium priority defect. To maximise the benefit to be achieved from available funding for medium priority defects we must prioritise locations of greater risk over others. Unfortunately on this occasion this defect was not prioritised for repair. However, we will continue to monitor this on our scheduled cyclic inspections and should it deteriorate further will be reassessed for possible selection for repair.
