At Bus stop 'RA' The gulley has become blocked with street 'Detritus'. When it rains, the road floods' the busses pull up and the 'wash' splashes the waiting passengers, who then have to wade through the dirty water to alight the bus. Sometimes the driver sees this and kindly stops a few meters past the stop. PLEASE find the wherewith all to attend to this gulley blockage. This comes about due to the mechanical road-sweeper, not going around the gullies, but the detritus ahead of the brush, falling down the gulley !

This problem has been received by our Highways Team. We plan to inspect within 20 days and provide an update.

This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update. If this defect is selected for repair, our contractor will have a further 28 days to carry out the work
