Grass verges are overgrown as they have not been cut last week, as should have been the case according to the published schedule. Council verge cutters appeared with equipment but never actually cut the grass or returned over a week later – more poor service from Brent Council whilst charging residents even more council tax. Residents are watching you – stop shirking work and keep our roads respectable.

No timely action was taken. No explanation has been offered. As expected, this report was simply ignored until the next scheduled cutting date, which was yesterday. So the grass verges in this area were not cut for two months, and the published schedule was not adhered to. This resulted in the verges becoming even more severely overgrown.
This case has then conveniently been updated today to indicate action scheduled, since the responsible team know this was finally done yesterday, just hoping it can be now be swept under the carpet. Hence, the need to record this here. Clearly, a change of management is needed. Councillors have already been notified last month, and a response has been promised.
