Drain cover is dislodged by parking cars and has caused a hazard. I have reported this on many occasions over the years. And the council comes to repair the problem...but it happens at least twice if not three times in a year.. The council needs to find a more permanent solution like put Two wooden Bollards either side of the drain cover once fixed. I nearly twisted my ankle but luckily no damage happened to me on this occasion.

  • This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update. If this defect is selected for repair, our contractor will have a further 28 days to carry out the work
