The homeowner of 120 Stag Lane is known to Social Services. He has a sight impairment and needs to attend dialysis three times a week, He is collected and returned by ambulance to attend dialysis. However because of a collapsed bollard and lack of enough space outside his property, the ambulance cannot access the driveway meaning the ambulance has to park on Stag Lane creating an obstruction (its on 302 bus route) and distress for the patient.

This problem has been received by our Highways Team. We plan to inspect within 20 days and provide an update.

This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update. If this defect is selected for repair, our contractor will have a further 28 days to carry out the work
