In front of 220 Grasmere Avenue

Reported via mobile in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 16:26, Friday 10 April 2026

Sent to Brent Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9272446.

Since 2020 the pavement is absolutely dangerous and uneven and EXTREMELY DANGEROUS FOR PEDESTRIANS! The council should take IMMEDIATE ACTION and fix it immediately as I have CCTV footage how an elderly woman tripped/falls down and and lady with her buggy with kids inside the buggy, almost falling down from to buggy! Its absolutely disgusting and ridiculous how come the council hasn’t done anything regarding this pavement for the last 5 YEARS!!!! (FIVE YEARS!)

  • This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update. If this defect is selected for repair, our contractor will have a further 28 days to carry out the work

Thank you for taking the time to report this defect and helping keep Brent a safer, more accessible place to live.

  • After I have report it again on the 10 of April 2026, they came to fix a small lump in the road which wasn’t even a problem but still they didn’t come to investigate the pavement in front of the house 220, which is a big problem! And in the response from the Council they said that they will come to investigate it in 20 days, but nobody came….. hilarious.
