Just off the driveway of 38A Montpelier rise

Sent to Brent Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9240519.
There is a hazardous, sunken manhole cover located in the public highway/verge immediately adjacent to my driveway at 38A Montpelier Rise. The manhole frame situated 10cm from the kerb edge has not been raised to the correct finished level of the highway/verge. This has created a permanent, deep recess between the kerb angle and the manhole cover. This defect constitutes a significant trip hazard for pedestrians and residents accessing the property. Because the levels are not flush, vehicle tyres are dropping into this 10cm gap when entering the driveway, causing significant impact to vehicles and a persistent safety hazard. This appears to be a long-standing installation defect that requires the ironwork to be raised to meet the current road/kerb level.
