Pavement outside 58 Brinckburn Gardens

Part of the pavement that was previously repaired has cracked up and part of pavements next to it has lifted up and is loose. Resident at no 1 Brinckburn Close who is an elderly lady not able to walk on this part of pavement and having to walk in the middle of the road which is very dangerous for her. Also she faces a trip hazard walking on this section

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 14:06, Saturday 2 May 2026

  • This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update. If this defect is selected for repair, our contractor will have a further 28 days to carry out the work
