Collapsed trench / void under road surface requires urgent repair and action. There is a loss of support under the road on this section.
The impact from Heavy Double decker bus route 302 driving over this section is creating a shockwave which is being transfered to nearby properties as the surface concrete slab deflects due to a lack of support every time a heavy vehicle passes directly over it.
Issue has been previously reported under: FixMyStreet ref: 8979355 with the status set to repair ordered! However this has not been carried out, instead the report has disappeared.

This problem has been received by our Highways Team. We plan to inspect within 20 days and provide an update.

This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update. If this defect is selected for repair, our contractor will have a further 28 days to carry out the work
