The lights along this path have been non-functional for years. This has been reported to Brent Council repeatedly, yet nothing has been done to resolve the issue. The continued failure to act is unacceptable.
As a direct result of this prolonged neglect, the area has become unsafe, particularly during the evening and at night. Groups regularly gather there to drink alcohol, leaving smashed bottles scattered across the pavement and around the concrete bollards. This creates a serious and entirely avoidable hazard for residents, families, and anyone using the path.
Brent Council’s ongoing inaction demonstrates a disregard for public safety and for the community it is supposed to serve. Basic maintenance such as repairing street lighting should not require years of complaints.
The lack of response and accountability is deeply disappointing and reflects a failure to uphold your responsibility to local residents.
