The pavement slabs are uneven and deteriorating with visible gaps and settlement, and the kerbstones are damaged and misaligned. The condition has worsened over time and presents a clear trip hazard for pedestrians, particularly children, elderly residents and those with prams.
This issue has been reported previously on multiple occasions over several years, but no permanent repair has been carried out. The pavement continues to deteriorate and requires reassessment due to increased risk.
