The pavement is a hazard for trips and falls and is causing damage to my car. This part of the pavement is continually used by many people including royal mail, trucks and vans, even a fire truck as the point for a 3 point turn. Is has caused erosion and damage of the tarmac and cracking of the pavement, lifting and even popping out when walking or driving over it. Have had to put back in place many times. I am worried that although I am careful it will damage and hit the underside of my car as I once heard it bang underneath.

This problem has been received by our Highways Team. We plan to inspect within 10 days and provide an update.

This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update. If this defect is selected for repair, our contractor will have a further 28 days to carry out the work
