Reported via iOS in the Faded white lines category anonymously at 15:11, Friday 9 January 2026

Sent to Brent Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8657856.

Paint giveaway TRIANGLE as some cars are not stopping probably because the road is on a gradient so as you can see in the pic the double white giveway lines are not visible and then people are speeding down and oncoming cars could crash into each other so it’s important they stop for safety

Updates

  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Brent Council at 15:11, Friday 9 January 2026

  • Under the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 (TSRGD), Give Way junctions must be clearly and adequately marked so as to be readily visible to drivers. The absence of a visible Give Way triangle and degraded markings at this constrained junction fails to provide adequate advance warning, particularly given the single-lane width, opposing traffic movements, and adjacent pedestrian access, creating a foreseeable collision risk. A photo has been provided to demonstrate why a give way triangle is needed, not painting one puts pedestrians and cars on the narrow section after making a right turn in severe danger and risk.
