Reported via mobile in the Gully - Blocked (Flooded) category anonymously at 11:33, Fri 19 December 2025
Sent to Brent Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8569254.
This issue was reported over a year ago but the underlying problem does not appear to have been resolved. The gully pictured is constantly flooded and so too is the area immediately at the pavement crossover. This is problematic for pedestrians, especially those with pushchairs and the elderly, as they have to avoid flooded area by walking on the slippery and muddy grass verges. Furthermore, it is potentially hazardous when temperatures drop and the flooded area freezes over, creating a serious chance of slippage and injury. Please resolve this immediately before someone is injured.

This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update. If this defect is selected for repair, our contractor will have a further 28 days to carry out the work
Thank you for taking the time to report this defect and helping keep Brent a safer, more accessible place to live.
