Broken and danaged pavement. Spilt sand. Slippery when it rains. This house has had heavy trucks and machinery driving in and out over the last several months while work was going on. Now they have left spilt sand drifting from their driveway on the public highway which is dangerous.

  • This problem has been received by our Highways Team. We plan to inspect within 10 days and provide an update.

  • This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update. If this defect is selected for repair, our contractor will have a further 28 days to carry out the work
