I would like to report a damaged section of road that is causing ongoing issues. The surface has significant cracking and a deep pothole that regularly fills with muddy standing water. Debris and litter also accumulate there, making the area unsafe for pedestrians and vehicles
The pothole and broken surface appear to be worsening, and the pooling water creates a slip hazard, particularly in colder weather. I kindly request that this location be inspected and scheduled for repair as soon as possible.

This problem has been received by our Highways Team. We plan to inspect within 10 days and provide an update.

This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update. If this defect is selected for repair, our contractor will have a further 28 days to carry out the work
