Junction of Milverton road and Chudleigh Road

The lines going up the junction on Chudleigh are faded but in the middle of the carriageway and the lines off Milverton approaching the junction to show the junction box are in the incorrect position and not centred resulting in cars cutting the corner and nearly hitting the cars approaching the junction to turn right. It's utterly lethal.

  • This defect was categorised as medium priority defect. To maximise the benefit to be achieved from available funding for medium priority defects we must prioritise locations of greater risk over others. Unfortunately on this occasion this defect was not prioritised for repair. However, we will continue to monitor this on our scheduled cyclic inspections and should it deteriorate further will be reassessed for possible selection for repair.
