Hi, Good Morning A street light post has sustained visible damage, resulting in exposed electrical wiring and the access panel/lid remaining open. The damaged post poses several safety risks: • Electrical Hazard: Exposed wires increase the risk of electric shock to pedestrians, especially children or curious passers-by. • Public Safety Risk: The open lid and damaged structure may cause someone to trip, collide with the post, or come into contact with live components. • Service Disruption: The light may malfunction or fail completely due to the damaged wiring or compromised enclosure. • Weather Damage: Exposure to rain, wind, or debris can worsen the electrical risk and degrade the internal components.
