In ball courts in Gladstone Park

Reported via mobile in the Park furniture damaged category anonymously at 15:16, Tuesday 11 November 2025

Sent to Brent Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8405094.

In the ball courts in Gladstone Park front area the benches that were in the ball courts have been removed over a number of years because of repeated damage and lack of maintenance. What's left in terms of benches are in a bad state. There is no sufficient, regular litter clearing in these ball courts, even though they always attract litter, especially drinks containers. Rubbish around the remaining benches builds up, as does debris and mud around edges. Please can the maintenance of these much used courts be reviewed? They are decaying. The surfaces are eroded, outdated and hazerdous with grit and holes. Locks on the gates don't all work. There is damage to the wire fence at the back. They are in a sorry state considering the very heavy use they get, especially in lighter months. Their condition is really poor compared with similar facilities in other London boroughs.
