Between tree and furniture shop.

Reported via desktop in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 15:29, Wed 3 September 2025

Sent to Brent Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8114279.

This section of pavement presents a clear tripping hazard due to the uneven surface where one slab has dropped lower than the surrounding kerbs. The depression is significant enough to hold water, which not only makes the area slippery but also increases the risk of slips, trips, and falls, especially in wet conditions. The pooling water and accumulated debris highlight the need for urgent repair to ensure pedestrian safety.

  • This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update. If this defect is selected for repair, our contractor will have a further 28 days to carry out the work

Thank you for taking the time to report this defect and helping keep Brent a safer, more accessible place to live.
