Pavement is coming away especially near wall. When moss and soil is removed the pavement crumbles and deep holes are left. It is a hazard. My small son came off his scooter due to the uneven surface and is now on antibiotics because gravel from the broken pavement lodged in his knee and hand. We are scared to fully clean the pavement of debris as it will just leave more holes. I complained about this months ago and was told it was not serious enough to fix.

This problem has been received by our Highways Team. We plan to inspect within 10 days and provide an update.

This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update. If this defect is selected for repair, our contractor will have a further 28 days to carry out the work
