13 Hassop Road

Reported via mobile in the Pothole or other road damage category anonymously at 14:37, Tue 22 July 2025

Sent to Brent Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7916824.

Dear Brent Council,

I am writing to report a damaged section of pavement outside my property that is causing significant issues. The surface is uneven and does not drain properly, leading to frequent water pooling. This has made it not only difficult for cars to safely access the garage, but also presents a serious safety hazard.

Just recently, I nearly slipped while walking over the area, and on another occasion, my children almost lost their footing due to the accumulated water. It's especially dangerous during colder weather or after rainfall, when the surface becomes slippery and unpredictable.

I kindly urge the council to inspect and repair this section of pavement as soon as possible before someone gets seriously injured. Ensuring safe pedestrian use and vehicle access is vital for the wellbeing of residents.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Kind regards

  • This defect was categorised as medium priority defect. To maximise the benefit to be achieved from available funding for medium priority defects we must prioritise locations of greater risk over others. Unfortunately on this occasion this defect was not prioritised for repair. However, we will continue to monitor this on our scheduled cyclic inspections and should it deteriorate further will be reassessed for possible selection for repair.
