Opposite 13 Mount Drive

Reported via mobile in the Shrubs - Overgrown category by Robert Johnson at 13:48, Mon 14 July 2025

Sent to Brent Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7874227.

The resident is complaining that the bush is not maintained and a regular maintenance for the shrub is required. The resident also complains that the Road is used as a rat run and should have a notice installed to show that it is a dead end.

Updates

  • The resident has explained that the issue with this frequently overgrown shrub on the tiny roundabout is that it is blocking the view of the end of the cul-de-sac and drivers speed up to it trying to escape Forty Lane on event days and thinking the road continues on the other side. Because it doesn't, children playing, pedestrians, vehicles on the other side are put at risk by dangerous driving. Would it be possible to maintain below eye level/ take out entirely/ replace with a low growth planting/ put a cul-de-sac sign on the road entrance? The resident claims he is having to trim it year in year out himself and it is not sustainable; and that LBB have told him that it's not their roundabout/ responsibility. However, the road is adopted by LBB. Can you look into it?
