As seen in the photos, inside the fenced area there are overgrown hedges / bushes / shrubs. The hedge boarder of this space is overgrown and overhanging the pavement areas, thereby obstructing access for residents of 137 - 143. The bushes and shrubs in the open space are heavily overgrown, and contain plants which have needle-like leaves. Children from the nearby school regularly play in the area. This overgrown area is a security risk and health hazard for the young and elderly residents on this part of Chaplin Road. Please can this area be part of a routine regular maintenance schedule to prevent this overgrowth. Please advise urgently on when this ongoing issue will be addressed. I have already contacted FixMyStreet who have advised that is not part of their remit.
