This stretch of busy road is a menace - i saw a young teenager riding her bike down here and she hit one of the many many pot holes and broken pieces of road, and came flying off her bike outside the coffee shop on park parade. Took a terrible tumble, luckily she was wearing a helmet, but she could have been badly hurt if she hadn't been. This stretch of road is in scary condition. it's just a matter of time until someone ends up hurt badly - needs significant repairs as soon as possible. it's a busy stretch of road and the council seemingly doesn't care how safe it is or isn't. In need of thorough repairs. I've attached a bunch of photos showing specific damaged areas, but honestly it's hard to find even the briefest as area that's in good condition, the entire thing is disintegrating!

This problem has been received by our Highways Team. We plan to inspect within 10 days and provide an update.

This defect was categorised as medium priority defect. To maximise the benefit to be achieved from available funding for medium priority defects we must prioritise locations of greater risk over others. Unfortunately on this occasion this defect was not prioritised for repair. However, we will continue to monitor this on our scheduled cyclic inspections and should it deteriorate further will be reassessed for possible selection for repair.
