The manhole cover makes a loud knocking noise as vehicles drive over it for the last month. Its position in the road is such that every vehicle's wheel passes over it. It's a busy road used by buses and vans and there is a concern over time that the cover will eventually have structural issues and crack - as well as the constant noise pollution.
