Corner of 68 Shaftesbury Avenue going into westward way

Reported via iOS in the Street tree - Overgrown category anonymously at 09:29, Monday 17 March 2025

Sent to Brent Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7289319.

Dear council,

These trees and hedges have been over hanging for over 8 years. Look at the pictures, it clearly shows it is over hanging on half the walkway which means the walkway is reduced dramatically. This makes it very hard to walk down this road with a wheel chair, pushchairs and children especially more with oncoming pedestrians.

I would like an explanation why nothing has been done. I reported this prior to covid many times.

Please can you either cut down the over hanging trees and hedges or replace the verge with a pavement so families and wheelchairs users can use the pavement normally. I must also add, this is a busy walkway as it is accessible to schools

This report is now closed to updates from the public. You can make a new report in the same location.
