The area is not being adequately maintained and cleaned, leading to an accumulation of rubbish. This problem worsens significantly during heavy rains when the lake water rises, causing the rubbish to circulate again and further pollute the area.

A major deep clean of the lake took place a few months ago, which was greatly appreciated. However, if regular maintenance and follow-up actions are not implemented, the effort put into the deep cleaning will be wasted, and the issue will persist.

We kindly urge the council to take action by implementing regular cleaning schedules, installing better waste disposal facilities, or considering preventive measures such as waste barriers. Without consistent maintenance, the problem will only continue to grow.
