The kerb which was already damaged and Brent would not fix because of lack of funds has this morning been damaged even more after a scaffolding lorry was parked by it and presumably the weight of the truck has caused further movement making it extremely dangerous now.

  • This defect was categorised as medium priority defect. To maximise the benefit to be achieved from available funding for medium priority defects we must prioritise locations of greater risk over others. Unfortunately on this occasion this defect was not prioritised for repair. However, we will continue to monitor this on our scheduled cyclic inspections and should it deteriorate further will be reassessed for possible selection for repair.
