There are 3 sections of severely damaged guard railings! It has been reported a few times before and no one seems to be doing anything about it even after nearly a year! There are 3 schools, a train station and bus stop nearby and this is a major health and safety hazard.

This problem has been received by our Highways Team. We plan to inspect within 10 days and provide an update.

This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update. If this defect is selected for repair, our contractor will have a further 28 days to carry out the work
