Tennis Courts in Chelmsford Square
Reported via desktop in the Overgrown hedges category anonymously at 16:40, Thu 17 October 2024
Sent to Brent Council 7 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 6628455.
Plants overhanging the tennis courts interfere with play and drop plant debris on the courts, causing moss, leaf debris and silt to build up on the courts, making the surface slippery and dangerous to play on. At the back of courts 1 and 2 there is mass of rotting plant debris which is slippery and smelly. Plants need to be cut back and court surfaces jet washed.

Most plant debris removed and boundaries cleared of weeds. But surface still needs to be jet sprayed, and overhanging branches need to be cut back.

Plants around the tennis courts have been cut back but those overhanging the courts have not, so continue to drop debris on the courts. Also, the moss around the playing surface has grown more, causing the surface to be dangerously slippery. Please get the surfaces jet washed.
