The roots are causing the sidewalk to crack and are a threat, yesterday one of them fell over. There are dry and old tall trees that destroy the sidewalks and people are afraid for their cars parked next to them.

  • This defect was categorised as medium priority defect. To maximise the benefit to be achieved from available funding for medium priority defects we must prioritise locations of greater risk over others. Unfortunately on this occasion this defect was not prioritised for repair. However, we will continue to monitor this on our scheduled cyclic inspections and should it deteriorate further will be reassessed for possible selection for repair.
