I have reported the broken paving slabs outside these four houses many times and they remain a dangerous hazard for elderly people. Can these please be repaired before someone else falls over? I understand they were supposed to be repaired in February but still no action. I notice the council tax has gone up again, so what are paying for? The litter is also endless. Signed a very unhappy resident. 137 Maybank Avenue. Please respond with the news that something will be done at last.

This problem has been received by our Highways Team. We plan to inspect within 30 days and provide an update.

This problem has now been inspected. Limited Council resources mean that it is not possible to repair each and every defect, and we have to prioritise cases that pose the most risk to the public so a further assessment by officers is required. We hope to make a decision on this repair within the next 14 days and provide a further update.
